Having been involved in the music industry for over 20 years, Kevin has produced and played on thousands of tracks. His work as in-house producer and studio manager for Kevin Mayhew Publishers led him to work with many composers and songwriters across a vast range of genres.
Kevin now works as a freelance music producer, recording in his own GingerDog Studios and also out on location. He is fully accomplished in using Protools, Logic and Cubase as well as mastering software' Sadie, Wavelab and DSP Quattro.
Over the years Kevin has developed the specialist skill of working with sampled instruments. His work with sampled orchestras has led to him being highly sought to produce realistic orchestrations for both, media mockups and fully fledged releases.
Kevin has been composing music since a very early age. His completed works include compositions for big bands, orchestras, piano, solo instrumentalists, choirs, musical theatre and solo artists.
As a composer, Kevin has worked across many Genres. He has written two musical's 'Jerusalem News' and 'Backstaged' which was commissioned by and performed at the National Youth Music Camp in 2012. His media compositions have been used by a national high street retailer and a London based theatre company. For Kevin Mayhew Publishers his works include a jazz improvisation tutor using all original compositions, a worship eucharist and a collection of celtic compositions featured on the CD 'Celtic Landscapes'.
